06. Colourblind

Music and lyrics written by Sherry Smith

Story

Colourblind is about not seeing the shades of things. It's about looking for someone else to blame and being stuck in denial. ''So, you're just going to have to be lonely tonight, cause you know that you blew it, and you can't make it right''. You're Colourblind.

Lyrics

Well I'm stuck in the middle and it's always the same - so I turn to another to get rid of the blame. When you know that the changes are still up to you, and there's - no bottle big enough for you to hide. No guarantees you're just along for the ride and you're colourblind - - sitting in the middle girl.

You're colourblind - you can't see the shades. You're colourblind - such a silly girl, you're colourblind.

And it keeps getting harder, day after day. There's a part of you missing - it's all gone away. But you hate to admit it girl, cause you made it that way. So you're

just gonna have to be - lonely tonight - cause you know that you blew it and you can't make it right. You're colourblind, sitting in the middle girl - colourblind - you can't see the shades you're colourblind such a silly girl. You're colourblind.

Break

Get away - leave today

New perception on a cloudy day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

When the fantasy's fading, into thin air, and it don't seem the same, when he isn't there. But, you've got your freedom girl - so why should you care - so you're just going to have to be lonely tonight, cause you know that you blew it and you can't make it right. You're colourblind - sittin in the middle girl - colourblind - you can't see the shades. Colourblind, such a silly thing. Colourblind fade out.
