11. South end boys

Music and lyrics written by Sherry Smith

Story

Some of my good buddies think they know who I was writing about in this tune but it really is not a ''Taylor Swift'' scenario. It always takes two in a relationship because women who love too much (me) have a choice to avoid the situations. I was always attracted to the bad boys and it took me a lot of years working a recovery program to finally figure out that I looked for these guys because they were unattainable which suited me because I also did not want a committed relationship either.

Lyrics

So you sit  there - all alone again - with just your pain to keep you company.

You know they're waiting - with anger in their eyes - how could you love a man like that.

And though you know they're right - you've known it all along.

By now you're so confused you don't know right from wrong and you

wonder why you always always love the bad boys. The ones who think that no one really cares.

You can love him till the cows come home but all you'll get is pain,,,,,,and thin air.

He says he's going straight - he's going to get a job - or maybe just go back to school.

Then he leaves you, moves in with what's her name - and lets the town know you're a fool. And so you kick yourself and get back on the track.

You sign in your own blood - you'll never take him back.

You wonder why you always love the bad boys. The ones who think that no one really cares. You can love him till the cows come home but all you'll get is pain,,,,,,,,,and thin air.

Break.

Just when you're thinking - you're over him for good. You get the signs he's returning. He starts to call you - like you knew he would. He knows that he can stop that yearning.

And so you meet him - to plan a brand new start. By now you're pleading with him - please don't break my heart. And you,,,,

Wonder why you always love the bad boys,,,the ones who think that no one really cares. You can love him till the cows come home but all you'll get is pain,,,,,,,,

and thin air.
